Crisol Poster (2023) is a new revised version of Crisol (2017), a stencil display typeface available in six widths. Crisol Poster is inspired by the same design principles as Futura Black by Paul Renner and Braggadocio by William A. Woolley. Due to its triangular terminals—instead of circular ones—the typeface offers more shape consistency than its predecessors. This distinguishing feature turns it into a powerful typographic tool for editorial use. The diacritics were designed to match the thinner strokes of the typeface, instead of its overall weight. This facilitates the setting of capitals in lines with tight leading, leading to lively and texturally rich typographic blocks.
